1. Who we are
Curate Presence ("we", "us", "our") operates Curate Presence (the "Service"). We act as the data controller for personal data we collect through the Service.
2. Personal data we collect
- Account data: email address, authentication identifiers, hashed credentials (or OAuth identifiers if you sign in with a third-party provider).
- Profile and business inputs: business type, goals, tone, platform preferences, offers and any text you submit to generate content.
- Generated content: the outputs we produce in response to your inputs.
- Usage and telemetry: requests made, features used, error logs, approximate timestamps.
- Device and connection data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, language.
- Support communications: messages you send us.
- Billing data: handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record (see Section 5). We receive limited information such as subscription status, plan, and the last four digits of the payment method.
3. Why we use it

- Process subscriptions and manage your account (contract performance / legal obligation).
- Generate AI content based on your inputs (contract performance).
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and secure the Service (legitimate interests).

- Send service-related emails such as receipts, renewal and cancellation notices (contract performance / legal obligation).
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
4. AI model providers
We send your prompts to AI model providers to generate outputs. These providers process the data on our behalf and are contractually restricted in how they may use it.
5. Sharing your data
We share personal data only with the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers / subprocessors: hosting, database, authentication, email delivery, analytics, error monitoring and customer support tooling.
- Merchant of Record (Paddle): for the sale of our product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- AI model providers: to generate content from your prompts.
- Professional advisers: legal, accounting and similar advisers, where necessary.
- Authorities: when required by law or to protect rights, safety and security.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
Some of our subprocessors are located outside your country, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred from the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.
7. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After account closure we delete or anonymise personal data within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain it to comply with legal, tax, accounting or dispute-resolution obligations.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, port your data, and withdraw consent. UK/EEA users may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority. We aim to respond to rights requests within one month.
To exercise your rights, contact us at the support email listed in your account.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging, and least-privilege access to protect your personal data. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to safeguard your information.
10. Cookies
We use essential cookies and similar technologies needed to operate the Service (authentication, security, preferences). We do not use advertising cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break the Service.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
12. Changes
We may update this notice. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email.
